Story
Our current range of specialist toys have been so loved they are worn out so this Christmas we ask you to please make a gift to Livability Victoria Education Centre to give the children shiny, new and exciting toys to play and learn from.
Livability Victoria Education Centre (VEC) in Poole is a special school offering outstanding education, therapy and care to children aged 3 -19.
The children who attend VEC have physical disabilities or complex medical / neurological conditions and many have additional needs including communication difficulties, learning difficulties and sensory impairments.
Our youngest students love to play with toys and these include specialist sensory and switch operated toys adapted for their disabilities.
Using these specially adapted toys helps our learners to discover how to interact with each other, take turns, share and make friends.
From a switch operated train set, adapted penguin or tongue-twister giraffe games, to bubble machines and LED magic power globes, these are just a few of the awesome toys they love.
Christmas can be a truly magical time and we would love your support to help a disabled child at Livability Victoria Education Centre discover new skills through play, enabling each of them to lead their best life.
