"When mum became ill, her dearest wish was to die in her own bed. I was really worried about this but that's when I was introduced to Treetops.

"The first night, the Hospice at Home nurse came in and immediately put us at ease. She introduced herself to my mum and I felt pure gratitude knowing that there was someone there to care for her and I was happy to leave her that night knowing she was in safe hands and I could go home and get a good nights sleep.

The difference it made was tremendous. My mum was very ill but bravely carried on and I could see she was fading in front of my eyes. When the nurse came, she lifted me mentally. I cried with relief that they could support both of us. I couldn't have asked for any better care, support, empathy and compassion."
