Story

This January, a group of us will go Vegan for the month to raise money to help Cambridge Carbon Footprint fight climate change.

Do join us. You can set up a JustGiving fundraising page here (or download a sponsorship form from the CCF website) If you can't take the challenge yourself please sponsor one of us.

Going vegan massively reduces your carbon footprint, it's a whole new world of taste and flavour and it's kind to animals. But it can be daunting. If going totally vegan all month seems too hard, you can allow yourself some exceptions, so long as you tell your sponsors what those are. There are lots of helpful recipes and tips on the Veganuary website.

It's clear we're facing a climate emergency, with hundreds of millions of people suffering because of fires, floods, droughts and heatwaves caused by human induced climate change, and this is only the beginning. But together we can fight this. This is why Cambridge Carbon Footprint helps thousands of people each year to reduce their contribution to climate change. The more we all make it clear how much we care, the more politicians will listen. So take part in CCF's Veganuary Challenge: show you care and help fight climate change.

So join in. Get sponsored. Stock up on your favourite plant based foods, finish up your cheese, and tell everyone what you're doing using #vegan4ccf !
