Story

Over three quarters of adopted children have been removed from their birth families due to neglect or abuse. Finding a forever family is not always the end of their journey.

Because of the legacy of their early trauma, adopted children are falling dramatically behind their peers in school. They are more likely to be excluded, more likely to have social, emotional and mental health difficulties and more likely to leave school with no qualifications.

Adopted children tell us they feel confused and worried at school and adoptive parents tell us their children do not have an equal chance when it comes to education.

Our partnership with VIAM will help give adopted children an equal chance in school. Please help us raise vital funds so we can provide adoptive parents and teachers with the tools and resources to help adopted children in school, so they can have brighter futures.
