About Wear Red Day...
Children's Heart Surgery Fund's Wear Red Day is the charity's biggest fundraiser of the year. Taking place on 7 February during National Heart Month, thousands of amazing people will wear red in their communities, schools or work places to help save lives.
Since our first event in 2013, together we've raised over a quarter of a million pounds to help support the heart, mind, family and future of congenital heart disease patients in Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire.
How do I take part in Wear Red Day?
It's easy - just register at www.chsf.org.uk/wear-red-day, wear something red on 7 February and raise money. If you're at work, get your colleagues involved and join in the fun with our fundraising sweepstakes and games. Schools could have a non-uniform day - check out our recipes to hold a cake sale! If you're looking to take part in your community you could organise a special wear red party to bring everyone together and raise vital funds for Children's Heart Surgery Fund.
What if I'm busy on February 7th?
Please consider giving a donation to Children's Heart Surgery Fund. 1 in 100 babies are born with a heart defect and your money will make a huge difference to the 22,000 people living with CHD in our region. Thank you.
