Weldmar Hospicecare is proud to be taking part in the Sherborne Country Fair Dragon Boat Race on Sunday 29th May. Our team consists of staff members from all areas of our charity, from nursing to retail to fundraising, and even our Chief Executive!

The Weldmar Warriors are: Diane, Nicky, Charissa, Caroline, April, Lu, Melanie, Chloe, Bev, James, Teresa, Chanine, Bonnie, Stephanie, Gavin, Matt, Caroline, Ange, Aimee and Chris!

Weldmar Hospicecare provides specialist care for adults in Dorset with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones. We have our Inpatient Unit in Dorchester, but 83% of our care takes place in the community and in patient's own homes, in places such as Sherborne.

Weldmar's services are provided free of charge but we need to raise £18,000 every single day to continue our services for those who need us in the future. We rely heavily on the generosity of our local community and we are proud to be taking part in the Dragon Boat Race in one of the communities that we serve.
