Dogfest and Bought By Many have teamed up to create World Big Dog Walk - a challenge for dog owners (and dog lovers) to support animal charities like Mayhew.

As with many charities, coronavirus has had a dramatic effect on Mayhew's ability to generate funds during what has been one of the most challenging times in our 150-year history. We receive no government funding and desperately need your support. By joining in with initiatives such as the World Big Dog Walk, your support means that we can keep our vital services going.

The pandemic has hit the most vulnerable people in society the hardest, pet owners included, and Mayhew's Animal Welfare Officers have been working non-stop throughout lockdown to support those in our community who need a little extra help. They continue to deliver food, litter and flea and worming treatments to pet owners in need, and work on the frontline rescuing and rehabilitating lost, abandoned and injured animals.

How can I take part?

There's no cost to get involved! Let your dog take the lead this September and see how far you and your family can walk either in a day, a week or throughout the month.
