On Thursday 10th October 2019, people around the world will mark World Homeless Day. Join us by setting aside this day to Wear Orange, hold a fundraiser in your office, and support people who are experiencing homelessness in our local community.

We've chosen orange as it is a highly visible colour perfect to highlight a community who are not always visible.

West End Homelessness is a partnership between The Connection at St Martins, the Westminster business community, Westminster City Council and other organisations. We are passionate about ending homelessness in Westminster, and are working hard to do this.

Westminster is home to a huge number of thriving and successful businesses together we are enormously powerful. If we join our voices together to challenge one of the greatest injustices of our time, we can be heard. And if we tackle this issue together, we can make a lasting impact.

Funds raised will support the work of The Connection at St Martins Street Engagement Team, who provide crucial street outreach services and support for both people experiencing homelessness and local businesses being affected by issues associated with street homelessness.

The Connection at St Martins helps thousands of people every year to move away from, and stay off, the streets of London by tackling the underlying causes of rough sleeping alongside offering practical support.

£5,000 is equivalent to Emergency Accommodation for 125 vulnerable rough sleepers, providing them with a hot nutritious meal, showers, laundry and health services, and giving them a safe, warm space away from the streets of central London. Whilst in the Night Centre, guests are given specialist advice around their support needs and helped to access longer-term accommodation. With homelessness on the rise, and over 380 people faced with sleeping rough in Westminster on any given night, your support really is making a huge difference to peoples lives. Thank you.
