Bread is a staple food we take for granted, but for families in war-torn Syria, it can be a life saver. Alhamdulillah, our factory in northern Syria produces up to 30,000 loaves a day, feeding thousands of people who are struggling with displacement, poverty and record inflation.
As all running costs are covered by Muslim Hands, by donating you are helping to alleviate hunger as well as providing a sense of stability and normality to a community devastated by years of conflict.
Over 80% of the population live in poverty, more than 9.3 million Syrians are food insecure and over 6 million people remain displaced!
The funds raised through Zip World Velocity 2021 will go towards supporting the bread factory feed orphans, widows and people with disabilities providing them with life saving nourishment.
