Story
Hundreds of thousands of Rohingyas have fled from Myanmar to Bangladesh in recent months due to the outbreak of heavy violence in the Rakhine State. Many children and young mothers are traumatised, undernourished and in urgent need of support
Action Against Hunger has been working in Bangladesh for over a decade, and was ready to respond immediately. Six months on and we’re still one of the main agencies on the ground.
This Ramadan we are asking you to support our team in Bangladesh to help to ensure that Rohingya refugees receive the food, clean water, shelter and medical care that they so vitally need.
How your donations could make a difference:
£13 - Could provide medicine for ten malnourished children to complement their nutrition treatment.
£42 - Could provide the nutrition treatment needed to save the life of a severely malnourished child.
£103 - Could provide 25,000 chlorine tablets to ensure families have clean and safe drinking water.
