Story
Maisie Durant was a bright, beautiful and bubbly young woman with a fiercely bright future ahead of her. Her nut allergy was well-controlled by tablets, however upon eating a "health bar" containing peanuts, she went into anaphylactic shock. Maisie was only 21 years old. We lost a daughter, sister and friend on 19 January 2015.
After a heartwarming response to Maisie's father, Jon, setting up a JustGiving page to raise money for the Anaphylaxis Campaign in her memory, the family have gone on to reach out and shower the people in Maisie's life with unconditional love. The original fundraising page can be found here: http://www.justgiving.com/Maisie-Durant
Together, with the expertise and support of the Anaphylaxis Campaign, family and friends of Maisie are raising additional funds to join Jon's original total. This grand total will then be used to develop and distribute a tool that may help prevent severe allergic reactions for those at risk.
Thank you for your interest, love and donations.
