Angel Radio provides a unique radio service for older people by having a team of older presenters playing old 78rpm records and chatting about their memories. We also broadcast mental & physical exercises and provide information about providers of services for older people. From 2002 we broadcast just locally in the Borough of Havant on FM. In 2010 people living outside of our area raised funds to enable us to be heard on digital radios in W. Sussex, Hampshire & Isle of Wight. In 2016 we have again been able to expand our coverage to older people Aldershot, Bristol, Birmingham, Cambridge, London, Norwich & Woking. The feedback via letters, telephone, email, Facebook, and personal callers dropping in, has been overwhelming. For example "... at the tender ages of 84 and 77 when we were looking to move, our number one priority was to make sure we could get a good Angel Radio signal...” – Les Delamare, listener. It's now time to allow all older people in the UK to benefit.
