Angel Eyes NI is a small but growing registered charity that has supported over 600 families across Northern Ireland who have a blind or partially sighted child. It was started by parents for parents and provides emotional support and practical help. It puts parents in touch with others, runs information days and clubs offering sport, music, drama and life skills such as cooking. It raises funds for everything it does. Our next big fundraiser is a true team event. We want families, friends and supporters to help us raise essential funds as the team puts themselves through their paces with a 16 mile walk along the North Down Coastal path.    We’d love it if you would  · join us on the walk and raise some sponsorship · make a donation through this link to help us reach our target · come along to say hello and give us support.

 The whole team is very excited about this walk. It starts in Groomsport – we will assemble around 10 and get moving at 10.30am and ends in Holywood around 5 hours later. It’s going to be a day of fun and friendships. We want to walk and talk with Angel Eyes NI families as we stroll through some lovely coastal scenery and parkland, with the odd road or two along the way. We will sustain ourselves with food and water and will be all geared up for every type of weather. We really have no idea what to expect as none of the team has done this before so we need all your help and support.  If you fancy sticking on an Angel Eyes NI t shirt/cap and raising some funds, just get in touch at the office on info@angeleyesni.org or ring 02890941632 and we’ll get you sorted.
