Day-to-day care is proven to affect a baby’s development. Yet, the lack of research into essential everyday care, is undermining babies' chances to thrive. We’ll fund research that helps improve babies’ quality of life – whether it’s about managing pain, improving the much-needed attachment between parents and their baby, or understanding neurodevelopment. With 270 babies born every single day needing neonatal care, it is vital to fund more research that can help improve their quality of life.
