Cambridge Islamic College’s mission is to produce a generation of independent Islamic scholars and thinkers who are at the same time working professionals contributing to the wider society.

Alhamdulillah we are on course to starting our unique residential degree programme in September of this year. For this purpose, we managed to acquire two properties in central Cambridge worth £2 million – the former Methodist Church for College campus (58 Sturton St) and adjoining 10-room house for women’s hostel (56 Sturton St). However we need to raise £50,000 to pay off some debts by end of February/March. Failure to keep up the repayments means that we will have to sell those properties we acquired. This would no doubt dent our progress and undo all the work done so far. So we appeal to our friends and supporters to help us achieve this target by the deadline. If 500 people donate £100 each we can easily reach our target, inshaAllah.

"Lend unto Allah a goodly loan. Whatever good you shall forward on your behalf you shall find it with Allah, as better and richer in reward." [Quran 73: 20]

We appeal to you to please support the College with a donation of £100 or more (or less if you cannot afford) towards a campaign set up to clear the loans. Every small contribution adds up and makes a huge difference. Please act now and please spread the message to others as well.
