The Day Services Unit cares for patients from one-year-old upwards. The team care for people undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures that do not require an overnight stay.

Whilst the Day Surgery Unit is a modern, purpose-built department, with an enthusiastic, highly skilled team of nurses specialising in day surgery care. The old playroom was a very tired and old space having last been decorated 8 years ago.  

With the support of two teams from Marks & Spencer's in Swindon Brighter Futures arranged a team volunteering week in June.  The group of 8 volunteers painted two beautiful jungle theme murals on the wall completely transforming the space for our young patients.  

Marks & Spencer’s kindly donated £500 towards the project which will help us to purchase much needed furniture and toys for the children.
