Story
Over one million Syrians have abandoned their homes and found refuge in Lebanon. More than 300,000 of them are now living in unhealthy houses with leaking roofs or poor access to water and sanitation.
Habitat for Humanity has been working in Lebanon for over a decade. We are well equipped to provide support in urban communities hosting large numbers of refugees. Our colleagues in Macedonia, Germany and across the region are also partnering with local organisations to meet the growing need as a united team.
Our Refugee Fund will allow us to support refugee projects right across the region, from the Middle East to Europe.
Thank you for partnering with us and our colleagues across the region to offer hope to those who literally have nothing.
*If all of our refugee projects become fully funded, additional funds raised will be allocated to our Humanitarian and Resilience Fund to continue working with those living in crisis in the wake of humanitarian or natural disaster.
