Story

"As the Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, I am making a personal donation of £1610, which is £10 for every country in which EBS has an alumnus." Heather McGregor, Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School

Donations from alumni and friends of the Edinburgh Business School can take Panmure House from a historic landmark to a hive of innovation and economic advancement. The discoveries made within these walls have the potential to answer some of the world’s most urgent questions and you can make this happen.

Make a gift today to continue Adam Smith’s legacy and pave the way for new discovery.  We have pledged to raise £1,000 for each of the 161 countries represented by our EBS graduates to secure the Panmure House PhD Scholarship Fund.

Join your fellow global graduates and represent your country by giving through our ‘Wealth of Nations’ page or by carrying out your own fundraising with a JustGiving page.  Your gift will ensure that those selected to carry out innovative PhD research are the very best minds for the job, not simply those who can afford to do so.

As someone who understands the benefit of a truly global education, we would like to ask you to join your fellow graduates in supporting this Fund. By doing so you will not only help to answer society’s most pressing economic questions but also open the doors to the educational experience that has shaped your career.

About the charity
