Story
Just before Christmas 2009, Lynda was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer.
‘I thought I was going to die; I even wrote goodbye letters to my three sons. Throughout this time and during treatment, I knew I could ring the Lymphoma Association Helpline for information and support. My Lymphoma Association buddy had already gone through what I was going through, which gave me hope and made me realise there was life to lookforward to in the future.’
We need YOUR help to reach our target of £9,000 by Christmas. It costs £9,000 to answer the 600 helpline enquiries that we receive in an average month.
Christmas can be particularly hard for people dealing with a lymphoma diagnosis as they may feel nervous and anxious about what the New Year will bring.
More than 125,000 people are currently living with lymphoma in the UK. Help us give hope and support to anyone facing life with lymphoma this festive season and beyond. With your help, we’ll be there for everyone affected by lymphoma.
