Help us fund a state-of the art 'gravity defying" treadmill for Cornwall's only MS therapy centre so people can rediscover walking and running, often after many years of being in a wheel-chair.
Story
We would absolutely love to keep this amazing equipment in Cornwall as we know what a difference it will make to so many lives. However, we desperately need some financial help as the machine costs £35,000.There have been tears of joy and sheer excitement at the feeling of running or walking for the first time in years.
David Neal who suffered a Stroke. " Before my stroke, I played sport and had been fit. The treadmill let me run for the first time in five years. It gave me confidence to do things I couldn’t before."The Anti-Gravity Treadmill (AGT) equipment, which provides partial weight-bearing pain-free exercise, is on loan to the charity and is the only facility in Cornwall to have this equipment. It can improve balance, gait, stride length and range of motion.It helps reduce falls and gives clients greater confidence in their daily activities.
