Story
We are overwhelmed with the support we have received! Thank you all for your donations to our hardship and travel fund! Please don't stop giving, we would love to raise as much as possible to allow us to support refugee and asylum seeker women across the city.
Thank you again for your support and generosity!
Refugee Women of Bristol are excited to announce that we have been offered match funding! Some of the money we raise will be matched by a donor, this money will go towards our hardship fund and to allowing more women to use our services. Thank you for helping us make Bristol a more welcoming city.
We are working to reach more women from throughout the city and your funds will support travel expenses, our hardship fund for women who are destitute and the continued running of our drop in workshops, ESOL lessons and support services. Please read more about us here!
Who are RWOB?
Refugee Women of Bristol (RWoB) is the only multi-ethnic, multi-faith organisation which specifically targets the needs of refugee women in Bristol, we are directly governed by women of the refugee and asylum-seeking community. We provide services to disenfranchised groups over and above the generic category of ‘refugee’, and routinely reach cohorts of women that other service-providers overlook or are unable to access.
RWoB became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) on 20th February 2017. We are now operating under Refugee Women of Bristol, charity number 1171683, all funds will be used by this entity.
