Story
The stories we hear from India today reflect a hunger for the Bible and its life-changing words and an urgent need for prayer as persecution and opposition to Christian witness increase.
We hear stories like that of Pastor Suresh, who plants churches in Karnataka. He explains: "it's not so easy to share the gospel here. Sometimes we are kicked out of villages, beaten up or even held prisoner. Despite that, we witness many miracles."
And like of that of Pranitha, who rescues people oppressed by slavery, bonded-labour and trafficking. She is passionate that the church should bring change. "Justice is part of the gospel" she explains. "The gospel calls us to show people who are trafficked that they have dignity and are made in the image of Christ; to set them free physically; and to love them so we can set them free spiritually."
Will you help us provide dedicated Bible resources to many like Suresh and Pranitha through your giving and prayers today? Thank you.
