Defibrillators can save lives. When someone suffers a cardiac arrest, the chance of survival falls by 10% every minute without action. However, with CPR and the use of a defibrillator within 3 minutes, the chance of survival could be as high as 70%.

Choices Health Clubs are supporting St John Ambulance and would like each of their 3 branches to have a public access defibrillator to be available to the local community and surrounding areas when it is needed most, to give more people the chance to survive a cardiac arrest. Therefore they are raising money for this essential piece of kit and to help raise awareness for this great appeal.
