Story
The underfloor heating in St Mary's was installed in the 1960s and has failed. The church is now cold and the fabric of the building is suffering damp. It is costing money for electric heating and wasting energy.
Our architect has recommended replacement of the underfloor heating and a new stone floor more in keeping with the historic nature of the building. We plan to start in January 2018 and have raised about £120,000 of the £250,000 needed.
Please help us to look after our historic church and to make it warmer for people attending both services and other events in church
