ThePromise works to improve the lives of disabled children in Russia. We do this by promoting a system of support (Portage) for disabled children in partnership with carers and organisations working with families and by encouraging a more positive attitude to disability. Our dream is to spread Portage throughout Russia to as many disabled children as possible.

We are very excited to be working with colleagues in Moscow and St Petersburg regions to bring Portage to more centres and institutions who care for children with special needs.

Receiving Portage will ensure every child reaches their developmental milestones and can enjoy life to the best of their abilities.

On #givingtuesday we hope to raise £3,000 to help us to provide training, support and advice to new and existing Portage services across these regions. This work will give many children and their families the gift of Portage and the hope for a better future.
