#THE TIKVA APPRECIATION CHALLENGE!!– Inspired by Rabbi Sandor Milun and the incredible students at the JLE.
When we open up to the trait of gratitude, it is clear to see how much good there is in our lives. Of course there will be things we may still be lacking; there is no limit to what we don’t have, and if that is where our focus lies then our lives will be filled with endless dissatisfaction. This is the ethos that lies behind the great Talmudic proverb which asks, “Who is rich?” and then answers, “Those who rejoice in their own lot!” (Avot 4:1)
Each and every one of us have something to be thankful for and appreciate.
Please share your photo with a note saying 'Today I appreciate...' and nominate at least 3 people to take part and donate too.

Tikva is a children’s home in which hope overrides despair and faith fuels optimism. Every day, we open our doors and hearts to Jewish children of the former Soviet Union whose young lives have been filled with suffering. More often than not, these children are the products of abandonment and abuse.
Tikva's mission is not just to raise these children in a safe and nurturing environment, but to help them to overcome the experiences of their past and see themselves as the dignified and deserving human beings that they are, giving vulnerable children the confidence to believe that their lives are full of promise and that they are entitled to their ambitions and worthy of their dreams.
