Story
Since May 2014 Sierra Leone had an Ebola Virus Disease Epidemic which has caused up to 3,000 deaths including 11 medical Doctors out of 36 Doctors for a population of 6 million ,300 nurses and other health care workers due to poor sanitation,lack of basic infection control practices, high illiteracy level and lack of health education.
The 10 year war left weakened health care service with poor infrastructures making the health care system vulnerable in Sierra Leone . Ebola has scaled down drastically but however the threat still persists in some Districts.
TOSHPA is launching hand washing facilities in hospitals in Sierra Leone to wash away the threat of Ebola and other life threatening infections for good.
