Story
In honour of Beverly's devotion to the care and treatment of children with Burkitt lymphoma in sub-Saharan Africa, we have set up a remembrance fund in her name, with all donations directly supporting the paediatric oncology programme at the Queen Elizabeth Central Hospital, Blantyre, Malawi. This programme seeks to provide curative treatment for children, as well as effective palliative care in the later stages of a child’s life.
Through this fund, we hope that Beverly’s legacy will live on and that children in Malawi will continue to receive the best possible treatment and care, through the twinning partnerships established between leading international experts in childhood cancer care, and local hospitals and healthcare professionals in the region.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank those who make a donation in Beverly’s memory to World Child Cancer.
