Story
Since 2008, we have enabled over 12,000 children to access formal education in Kenya and Uganda, and thousands of adults have completed language, ICT and enterprise courses to improve their skills and opportunities for the future. We are so proud of what we have achieved, but we also know that there is still so much more to be done.
We invite you to celebrate with us by taking on a fun activity or to make a donation to help us raise funds so we can continue to reach more refugees in East Africa.
If you need some inspiration for a fundraising activity, here are some exciting ideas:
Run, cycle or swim 10 kilometers
Take up this challenge and get your friends and family to sponsor you. Join a local race or try organising one of your own!
Raffle 10 prizes
Start a raffle and create your own lucky dip. Seek donations from businesses and put together some special prizes to sell, sell, sell and see who gets lucky.
Sell 10 of your own creations
Use your talents to make homemade crafts, food, or art and sell them to your friends and family. Try getting your kids involved!
Give up something for 10 days
Challenge yourself and/or your family to take 10 days without screens, snacks or social media etc. Ask people to sponsor your challenge.
Bake 10 different sweets and cakes
Set up your own bake-sale! Get your colleagues and friends involved and make it a competition. Ready, steady, bake!
