I am running the Paris marathon to raise money for an amazing performance project that will benefit many patients in several hospitals in the South West- initially Salisbury, Dorchester and Yeovil.  Activate are working together with a number of hospitals and performing artists to create a programme of amazing performances specifically for the hospital environment.  To start with, we will be working with Lorna Rees to develop 'Cloudscapes'- a one to one, interactive, bedside performance to watch the clouds go by above while talking about life journeys. 

We know from experience what powerful outcomes this type of work can have for hospital patients, their families and the staff.

This is my first marathon. I'm training hard, but am not a natural runner, so it won't come easy. But one way or another I intend to cross that finish line. I won't be fast but I will be massively inspired by knowing that you have sponsored me to just keep going and then we can make some fantastic work happen in hospitals.
