Story

In May 2015, Caroline & Craig will be attempting to run the Brathay 10in10 - that's 10 consecutive marathons over 10 consecutive days around England's largest lake, Windermere. The course is hilly to say the least, and is perhaps one of the country’s most challenging.

For Craig - 2013 was his first attempt, one which he completed and vowed never again! But hey, you know how that works - never say never ;-)

Caroline, she's not afraid of a challenge, and has completed several ultra distance events.

But the 10in10 is very different. More people have climbed Everest or ran a 4 minute mile than have completed the 10in10. It's indescribably tough, it's excruciatingly painful, it will find your weakness, it will make you feel more tired, more physically & emotionally drained & exhausted than you've ever been. But will also show your depth of character and strength that many have never experienced before.

It's going to be incredibly difficult, there are going to be tears, but we're doing this for a great cause, the Brathay Trust and their work with the under privileged and disadvantaged young adults - so please, dig deep.

We work with a wide range of young people, often with fewer opportunities in life, including those managing the transition from living in care to independence, at risk of exploitation in unhealthy relationships, needing confidence to find work or training, or facing other challenges in their lives.
