I am attempting to run 10k with my friend Kate who also ran the 5k for Race for Life with me last year. Unfortunately cancer is becoming a disease that we are becoming all too familiar with. Recently a close member of my family has been affected by this terrible disease. Thankfully they have been given the all clear after an operation last week, I will be running for them. I want to urge all my female friends to check out their wabs at least once a month for any rogue lumps. I want all my friends to have their smear tests once they turn 25 (if not before) JUST IN CASE. The same goes for my male friends, check out your lumpy bits for any extra lumpy bits.

I am running for the loved ones lost.
