Event: Susan's Virtual Everest Challenge Team, on 1 June 2020
Hike the Height of Everest - fight the spread of Covid -19 in Nepal. The Nestling Trust is helping the poorest communities, supports Covid -19 awareness programmes, funds medical supplies and PPE for Health Clinics, and soap for needy families.

Story

'High Hopes' is a group of Nestling Trust supporters who are taking up the Challenge to Hike or Run the height of Everest, 8848 metres, or the height of Everest base camp, 5363 metres, during June 2020. The aim of the Challenge is to help stop the spread of the Coronavirus to vulnerable communities of Nepal. Choosing a hill near to their home, the team will test their endurance, test their resolve, and test their sanity, all to raise funds for the Nestling Trust, so they can provide vital medical equipment and supplies to 5 Health Posts and 2 Covid-19 isolation areas in the Dolakha region of Nepal, as well as soap, for families without. Anyone from anywhere in the world is welcome to join the team! All you need is a hill or flight of stairs - do let me know if you would like to join 'High Hopes' and raise sponsorship - together we can help some of the worlds poorest communities and save lives. Do come and join us or sponsor another team member. Thank you

We work in coordination with Nepal Ministry of Health, local NGO's and Community Development Groups, to establish health clinics, where no medical facility exists, in the remote villages of Nepal. The clinics provide health care and health education. We also support a Home for destitute children.
