Story

Our family love to fundraise for a brain injury charity called Headway. This is in memory of a wonderful young man , my nephew ,Reece.

Tragically, Reece had an accident whilst swimming in the sea in wales on holiday, and on 29/07/13, aged 16, Reece passed away due to severe brain damage. He was such a big character, and a huge part of our family has gone with him. He genuinely was one of a kind, bright, wild and hilarious. Without knowing it he taught us many lessons. A wise head on young shoulders,  he has made us all immensely proud of who he became.

This account was for 4k. We reached it so I've upped it to 6k!

So far we have held charity events such as a 12hr tattooathons, themed nights,  silent discos,  ladies nights,  running various marathons, fitness boot camps , with even a 6yr old member of the family involving her school and raising lots ! In October 2015 I also trekked the great wall of China for Headway. All together over 10K has been raised. This account is one of many!

In 2016 , as a family, so far we have lined up more marathons, skydives,  the 3 peaks challenge, and a huge masquerade ball. That's just the start of it and we have plenty more.

We also run an online anti bullying project named #rocketproject to raise awareness of the effects of the media on young women - which at times can give them an unrealistic aim. We help women feel empowered. This is a nod to Reeces absolute crazy individualism which was a whirl of blue hair and doc martens !!!

Come join us and donate. You'll only regret you didn't do it sooner!
