I have worked in the field of Facial Palsy for over 10 years now and still find that there is a real lack of awareness around what causes facial palsy and how it can affect someones life. Facial Palsy affects people of all ages - my youngest patient right now is 18 months old and my eldest is in her 90's! Every time I run a support group or treat someone I hear how devastating facial palsy can be, this is my little way of doing something to help. It's really important to me to show my support and also raise as much awareness as I can - if we can raise some money to help the charity too then that is even better!! Thank you as always for supporting my efforts. This year I will be running a 5K in my face paint, meeting friends for birthday drinks in London in my face paint and of course treating all my patients in my clinics in my face paint amongst other things.
