Story

On Saturday 14th October 2017 at Chepstow Racecourse, Charlie Mann, will line up for the fifth running of the Jump Legends Charity Race to raise money for the Bob Champion Cancer Trust.

Charlie rode 149 winners in his fifteen years as a jockey, most of them for Jenny Pitman and Nicky Henderson.  1989 he broke his neck in a fall and retired from racing in the UK. His training career began in 1993 and in 1995 he rode and trained the winner of the Grand Pardubice on It’s A Snip. Charlie trains at Neardown, Upper Lambourn.

Success of this reserach will ultimately lead to better clinical management of this cancer and to new cancer tests and treatments.
