Jambo!

 

On August 23 I will be attempting to expertly climb/haul myself up Mount Kilimanjaro with the hopes of raising some shiny pennies for a charity extremely close to my heart, InterAct.

 

Run by The Stagecoach Charitable Trust, the InterAct project serves to provide disadvantaged children and young people with the chance to gain confidence and self-esteem through performance, absolutely free of charge.

 

The workshops focus on drama, movement and music, and exist entirely by the generosity of the public. Whether the children suffer from special needs or family financial difficulty, InterAct aims to include each child as an equal.

 

The more money raised, the more children can benefit from this amazing opportunity. So pretty please, dig deep!

**********UPDATE*********

After six long, LONG days I finally summited and reached the highest peak of Kilimanjaro, Uhuru Peak. It was a really gruelling experience and I wouldn't have been able to do it without all of your support and generosity. I video blogged the whole journey, and will upload soon!
