Having never ran the GNR before, I am rather worried that it may be me that requires charity, before the end........ but fingers crossed. Having recently started training, I am under no illusions as to how difficult the task will be. For example a short run to the chippy yesterday, left me sweating like a fat lass in a sauna.

If you fancy coming to watch and/or take the piss, it all kicks off on October 1st in the hovel that is Newcastle.  If you wish to fit in with the locals, remember to wear a barcoded shirt that shows off your ample gut, drink some local beer called "Dog",  and of course do not wash for at least a week before the race
