Story

On the 5th May 2022, Chris will be cycling around 200 miles over 3 days with his brothers. Their route will start in London, crossing the channel at Newhaven then cycling through some hilly French countryside finishing in Paris on the 8th May.

Chris would like to use this opportunity to raise money for Berkeley's charitable partner, Surrey Young Carers. There are 115,000 unpaid carers in Surrey looking after someone who couldn't manage without them. Caring can be extremely isolating and can take its toll - it can affect all aspects of life. But they are here to support by phone, through face-to-face meetings, support groups and workshops. They help with benefits advice, advocacy, give practical help and provide a wealth of information and free events."I had been signposted to so many dead ends, Action for Carers and Surrey Young Carers have been the first to offer real help and understanding."
