We are a bunch of ordinary dentists mostly in Scotland who wouldn't dream of killing magnificent animals like Cecil the Lion. We want to show our solidarity with the lions and those who care for them by raising money for LionAid, a UK charity.  We also aim to show the world via the power of social media that the vast majority of dentists are saddened by Cecil's death and angry about the fact that he died at the hands of a dentist. In some small way we hope to make amends. 

We are asking our fellow dentists, DCPs and anyone else who wants to to share photos of themselves not harming lions to help save other lions from the same fate as Cecil. We'd like to see photos of you with your dogs, cats, toy lions, photos of lions, whatever you like-just nothing rude. Share your photos on our Dentists for Lions facebook page and donate anything from £1 upwards and it will go straight to LionAid .
