I'm joining Cancer Research UK's Race for Life this year with many other MediaCom ladies. I wasn't going to ask everyone for sponsorship as I know its not a marathon, triathlon or cycling thousands of miles although at the moment running for 2 mins is a challenge!

But I changed my mind.

Yesterday a very close friend of my sisters, died aged 45 from cancer leaving behind 3 young children.  It is heartbreaking and I want to do my bit to help eradicate this awful disease so that no child has to grow up without a parent that has been taken by Cancer.

Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
