The Way of The Roses (and 2 thorns)

In 2012 I aim to raise money for Action on Hearing Loss by taking part in a number of active challenges. In April I completed the HONC, Hell of the North Cotswolds, and in June, together with my brother, I will cycle The Way of The Roses. We aim to complete the 170 mile route in 2 days.

My daughter, Florence, has a mild hearing loss and wears hearing aids. With these her language should develop normally.

Florence's hearing loss was picked up by a test soon after birth which, not so long ago, wasn't available.

Action on Hearing Loss provides support for people with much more serious difficulties than Florence but also funds research so problems can be detected early, treatments begun and difficulties reduced.
