Story

COMIC BOOK NERDS ASSEMBLE!

Your help is needed. We at Talking Comics were distraught at the scale of human suffering currently taking place in Europe and the Middle East. The photo of little Aylan Kurdi has shaken us all to the core and moved thousands of people to act. We all wanted to suddenly turn into Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan and help. And we all felt so helpless.

But We CAN help.

Comic book fans as a demographic are not the richest of people out there, but we always, always, have money for comic books.

So we are asking you to donate the price of a single comic book, that is why our fundraising goal is $3.999 as we are hoping that at least one thousand comic nerds will help! Don't be daunted by the $$ signs, you can donate in £ and in Euros too!

AND BY ALL MEANS, donate more! Donate the cost of a TB! A Hardcover! An Omnibus! your entire Pull List!

If lawyers can smash their record (https://www.justgiving.com/BillableHour) I believe we can to.

CREATORS!! Want to help by donating your work to a raffle or auctioning something? BY ALL MEANS! Also, PLEASE SHARE!!!

All donations will go to the International Rescue committee, helping refugees as they arrive in Europe, in Middle Eastern camps and as they resettle across North America.

Aylan was one of thousands who have lost their lives crossing the Mediterranean sea this year alone. He is one of thousands dying in Syria and in refugee camps across the Middle East and the world. Let us all help.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

THANK YOU xxxxx
