The Coptcoat Trust was originally set up to further knowledge and training in keyhole surgery in urology following on from Malcolm Coptcoat's pioneering work within that field. Now that is mainstream, the Trust provides:
An annual lecture at the British Urological Conference.
Funding for 2 King's, Guy's and Thomas' BSc students to do a thesis on robotics or urological innovation.
Funding for 2 students to present Short Papers at the Urological Royal Society
of Medicine Conference.
Funding for two King's students to participate in the annual Beijing Simulated Urological Olympics.
