Volunteering is the heartbeat of Corrymeela. For over fifty-two years, people from all around the world have journeyed to the North Coast to be a part of this community. Without the efforts of the volunteers today and all those who came before them, the Centre would not function.

To help support the life of the Volunteering Programme and the Lived Community who calls the Corrymeela Centre home, we have two teams that will be running in the Belfast Marathon on May 7th, 2018. Money raised from this event will go towards a variety of beneficial tools -

• transportation for volunteers, allowing them to more easily get off-site and continue their life-changing work out in the public square
• new resources to help volunteers facilitate a better experience for visitors and for the Lived Community itself
• access to medical and mental health services, especially for volunteers who cannot obtain these services through the NHS system
