Story
THE 100 LIMBS PROJECT
TOGETHER LET'S GET PEOPLE WALKING AGAIN !
The incidence of disability (especially amputation) is very high in Pakistan due to various causes including accidents, tumours or diabetes.
If you take a step today, they will be able to take one tomorrow.
This Ramadhan, APPS UK Foundation is aiming to provide for FREE 100 artificial limbs to amputees in Pakistan to people who would otherwise not be able to afford them.
Our team of doctors, led by Dr Amjad Gulzar Shaikh* will carry out the operations totally free of charge - we are just raising funds to purchase the limbs, parts and medication.
Dr Shaikh said “with the launch of the 100 Limbs Project, we will be able to give 100 amputees their lives back."
This Ramadhan please help APPS UK Foundation give a poor person the chance to walk again.
Allah (SWT) says:
“Spend from what We have provided you before death comes to any of you, whereat he will say, ‘My Lord, why did You not respite me for a short time so that I might have given charity and become one of the righteous!” (The Holy Quran 63:10)
Please take a look at the photos and videos below to see the work of our doctors.
This will give you a good idea as to what difference your donations will make.
A new prosthetic leg costs £ 600, but every little helps.
So please donate generously; all donations (no matter how small) will be extremely gratefully accepted.
Please donate your Zakah and Sadaqah this Ramadhan and help the APPS UK Foundation give someone the chance to rebuild their life.
