    Story

My reason for aiming to raise a total of £500 is to help this amazing family as much as I can. Muscular dystrophy, though it can't be cured altogether, can be made bearable for the sufferer and their family with the right equipment. The priority is that this fantastic young man should be able to live a happy and comfortable life the way he wants to live it. However, a stepping stone to achieving that is raising £100,000 to provide the right resources for disabled access and features throughout their house. I don't believe this is a task this family should have to face alone. I believe it's possible to achieve this and more. I have great admiration for this family and all that they do for others. They are very generous and warm people who deserve the best of what life has to offer. This equipment for their home would make it a safer environment for their child and reduce the risks of accidents which will become more likely as he grows older. This is something I will try as hard as I can to help them afford by doing 100 rounds of 2 minute sparring. Any support for this cause would be most welcome. Thank you.

I am amazed by the amount that has been raised through your generosity and cannot believe how far this idea has come. I completed the 100 2 minute rounds yesterday and am so grateful to all those who volunteered as an opponent, offered encouraging words or donated to the charity. The family also with to extend their gratitude to you all for helping to provide their son with a comfortable and happy future he deserves.
