Christianne and I will be taking part in a 10k race on Sunday 28th May. The reason we are doing this is to raise as much money as possible to help my sister-in-law, Assunta Langer.
In November 2015, Assunta was diagnosed with Triple Negative Breast Cancer, an aggressive rare form of cancer that affects 15% of younger women.

Anyone that knows Christianne and I will know 10k is quite ambitious for us and so we ask that you give as generously as you can knowing what a good cause the money is going towards.

In November 2015, upon diagnosis I was told it had spread, with multiple tumours in both lungs and a single lesion to the brain.
I have three beautiful children (2,4 and 6) and a loving husband who are my only reason for living. I am desperate to stay alive so I can be here for them, see them grow up and meet my grandchildren.
My last chemotherapy treatment was not successful and this aggressive cancer has now also spread to my lymph nodes and my liver. I am now on my 3rd line of chemotherapy and praying it is working.
My friends and family have started to do their own research to understand if more advanced treatments exist that could help and we found new hope: In America they administer new specific targeted drugs, that attack my cancer, which are not available in the UK and have shown to significantly extend life. I am trying to raise money to have these drugs to stay alive.
