We’ve had 11 baby bunnies come into our care. As you know we vaccinate all our rabbits against myxi, vhd1 & vhd2 we also neuter all of our rabbits. Sadly the adoption fees we ask for do not cover the cost. We are always at a loss by doing what’s best for the rabbits.

Vaccinations for myxi and vhd1 cost us £40

Vaccinations for vhd2 cost us £20

Neutering cost us £70

We are very lucky that our vets give us a discount.

The average rabbit with no health issues cost us £130 we only charge £75 for adoption. So we are at a loss of £55 each healthy rabbit that comes into our care. This doesn’t include any other underlying health issues.

These baby bunnies are going to cost us roughly £1430. So to help us be able to cover the cost we have decided to do a just giving fund. We aim for £2000 Incase they have any other issues that need seeing to. Anything more we make or anything we don’t spend on these babies will go to helping the other rabbits in our care.
