Story
The community-run 1722 Waggonway Project recently discovered the remains of Scotland's first railway, a find of huge sugnificance as these are the earliest remains of any wooden waggonway (the forerunners of railways) discovered.
It is vital that we raise funds to allow the project to continue its investigations into this histroic find and to help us celebrate the history of this important heritage asset through the development of the Waggonway Museum in Cockenzie.
So please donate what you can, and be part of this important community-led celebration of our nation's industrial past!
